本校於1969年創立，依據所在地校名為私立黎明工業專科學校，於2002年改制升格為技術學院。本校位於新北地區，交通便利，緊鄰機場捷運站、距離台北101大樓、故宮博物院及西門町等國際知名景點僅約25分鐘車程。本校教目標以就業力為導向，著重培養生具備專業實能，目前設有演藝影視學群(表演藝術系、影視傳播系、戲劇系)、時尚創意學群(化妝品應用系、服飾設計系、數位多媒體系、數位行銷管理系)、觀光餐旅學群(餐飲管理系、觀光休閒系)及工程服務學群(電機工程系、機械工程系、車輛工程系)等四個學群。本校各學系設有國家級證照考場，以提供學生證照訓練，提升就業能力，學生也多次在國際性技能競賽獲得大獎,其優異表現使得本校連續4年獲得技職教育界極高肯定-技職之光的殊榮。
School Profile
The School, formerly known as Lee-Ming Industry School, was established in 1969. In 2002, the School was upgraded to Lee-Ming Institute of Technology. The School is location-desirable in the Greater New Taipei Area due to transportation convenience, close proximity to MRT station to the airport, Taipei 101 Building, National Palace Museum, and Xinmending that it takes only about 25 minutes to famous sites.The School focuses its teaching on employability and practicality. Currently, the School offers four main fields of study: "Arts" (Department of Performing Arts, of Creative Media＆Film Arts. 發展特色： 數位行銷管理系依據產業之發展趨勢與人才需求，將教育目標設定為「培育具備數位行銷流通與管理能力之創新開發與經營行銷人才」，本系專業分「時尚行銷」與「智慧商務」兩大領域進行培育，以使本系學生成為能結合實體通路與數位經營的專業人才。
Development Features：Based on the development trends and talent needs of the industry, the digital marketing management department sets the educational goal as "cultivating innovative development and operation marketing talents with digital marketing circulation and management capabilities". The majors of this department are divided into "fashion marketing" and "smart business". Development Features：As a part of vocational education system, we emphasize cultivation of talent for the industry and workplace centered within our department’sdevelopment. We work hard on practical drills, internship and employment, aiming to cultivate basic and intermediate talent in the industry of drama and theatre arts. Drama arts creation and theatre arts design are the direction of our courses; we integrate creation, basic design concept and production, practical execution and humanity attainment, merging of employment direction. Our students learn professional drama foundation recognition/technique, strengthen theatre practical skill and humanistic aesthetics thinking; they also study technology media application and interdisciplinary multi-integral ability among arts, planning and execution abilities. Best street dance nationwide:With strength and knowledge of national and international dance crews and elite dancers we have integrated, we cultivate our students to become dance professionals. We have won 62 dance awards worldwide, including College High Hip Hop champion and INDIGENOUS GAMES champions 4 times in a row.

發展特色：培養兼具本土特色與世界觀之觀光與休閒專業人才為目標。本系模組化課程設計,分為觀光旅遊、運動休閒及旅館管理,除訓練學生獲得觀光休閒管理的理論知識,加強學生外語訓練外,積極鼓勵輔導學生考取觀光旅遊與運動休閒等相關專業證照,並於大四期間進行一年之校外實習,強化學生的就業能力與職場競爭力。
Development Features：The department's goal is to cultivate tourism and leisure professionals with local characteristics and worldview. The curriculum is designed based on three disciplines: travel tourism,recreational sport, and hotel management. In addition to the training of students for the acquisition of theoretical knowledge in tourism and leisure management, enhancement of students' foreign language, the department also actively encourages students to obtain relevant professional certificates in tourism, recreational sport, and leisure. By the fourth (senior) year, participation of one-year off-campus internship would enhance students' employability and workplace competitiveness.

Development Features： The Department of Food & Beverage Management constructs its curriculum by two disciplines: "culinary" and "hospitality service skills". The Department aims to strengthen students' skillset that meets what the industry needs. Enhance professionalism and international vision are achieved through practical topics, certification acquisition, culinary seminars,on-/off capus practical training, cooperative dual-teaching from the industry,visitation to the industry, and teaching by experienced managers of the industry. Students are prepared to be employable and employable upon graduation.
發展特色：電機工程系以「培育具智慧科技整合與水電空調工程實作能力之電機專業技術人才」為教育目標，並以電力與能源科技、智慧型控制及資訊應用三大領域為發展重點。主要策略為：1.強化技能檢定實務教學。2.擴大專題製作成果。3.擴大校外實習量能。另外引進業師協同教學，以了解產業需求，並從「做中學」來提升學生實務技術，強化就業競爭力，達到「畢業即就業」之終極目標。
Development Features：The Department of Electrical Engineering takes the educational goal of "cultivating electrical professional technical talents with the ability to integrate smart technology and implement hydropower and air-conditioning projects" as its educational goal, and focuses on the three major fields of power and energy technology, smart control, and information application. 發展特色：機械工程系以電腦輔助機械設計、電腦輔助機械製造及機電整合自動化為教學特色,輔以「能源應用」基礎知識,結合傳統與先進機械加工技術,落實學生實務實習訓練並取得相關專業證照,鼓勵學生積極參與產學合作與專題製作競賽,使學生具備產業所需技術能力與職場競爭力,成為電腦輔助設計工程師、模具製程工程師、機電設備維護工程師。
Development Features：The teaching characteristics by the Department of Mechanical Engineering include Computer Aided Design (CAD), CAD production, and integrated electro-mechanics with automation. The aim of the curriculum plan is to cultivate students with the basic knowledge of "Energy Application" through traditional and advanced mechanical postproduction technologies. Realization of practical training prepares students for professional certification. Student participation in industry-funded projects and competitions will increase their employability of becoming a CAD engineer, molding engineer, or electromechanic maintenance engineer.
